The internal structures of the enterprise have increasingly gained in complexity due to the fast technological development.

In 2014 the company decided for the realization of an ERP project with trend SWM in connection with the accounting software PORTOLAN EVM. Here, Lackwerke Peters decided for the complete software package including Financial Accounting, Asset Accounting and parts of the Controlling. Here, Cost Accounting was one of the first core projects to be introduced. After an intensive business analysis, a cost allocation on individual cost centers was performed. Costs are specified via cost allocation in a structured manner in order to correspond to the calculation schema. In the framework of the project, all the master data were standardized and harmonized across all clients (suppliers, customers and G/L accounts). Thus, users are able to quickly perform new entries and changes.

Sabine Bremer, Manager of Financial Accounting at Lackwerke Peters GmbH & Co. KG, is aware of the advantages to be gained from a more rapidly incoming payment processing. PORTOLAN EVM determines all relevant customer data from open items automatically - based on entries of invoice- or customer number on the bank account statement. If there are no differences, open items are balanced automatically. Apart from that, Mrs. Bremer looks forward to the start of the new fiscal year in order take full advantage from the program.
