Losberger Group decided in favor of PORTOLAN

Single Accounting software solution for international use at Losberger Group.

blog losbergerA further new customer decided in favor of the Controlling and Accounting software of PORTOLAN Commerce Solutions GmbH, situated in Ilsfeld. In future, Losberger Group as one of the world's leading enterprise for temporary tent and hall solutions will control its corporate accountancy processes with the EVM software.

Within the scope of improving Losberger’s group-wide reporting, the existing software on IBM Power 7 should be replaced by a new one. Here, the requirements of this internationally distributing company group had to be met, not least in terms of future viability. This means that the growth planned can be achieved both in additional regions, in further application fields and for new products. Therefore, not only the requirements of accountancy had to be taken into consideration but also the needs of sales, procurement, production and marketing.

Against this background, for the software selection the following criteria were of particular importance:

  • Ability to run on IBM Power 7.
  • Segment Accounting and segment analysis.
  • Mapping country-specific requirements for an international use.
  • Convenient handling for most different user groups to perform data selections and evaluations

It is planned to install PORTOLAN EVM in Germany, France, England and USA within the next months in order to go live at the beginning of 2013. Additional installations are planned for the future.
