Kosten clever aufteilen mit DCW
Did you already know?
In DCW, you can easily distribute postings to cost centers on a pro rata basis, both with fixed tables and “on the fly” individually in the posting.
When do I need this?
The allocation of costs to cost centers is a regular task in accounting. Room costs can be allocated according to square meters, electricity costs according to consumption and insurance according to the number of people per department / cost centre. You can store these ratios in tables in DCW if they are used regularly or enter them manually in a posting if they are one-off allocations.
Where do I store apportionment rules?
Like so much in DCW, the splits are also controlled via tables. Each rule has its own table in the area K10 – K12 or K14 – K19. The cost center and its proportional rate are then stored in the table.
The sum of the rates does not have to be 100. The share of the cost center is calculated using the formula
Proportion = booking amount * (rate / sum of all rates) calculated.
So that the system knows which allocation is to be used, define the allocation rules in table K0202 and enter the corresponding table there:
You then enter the key in the “Allocation rule” field when entering the cost account assignment.
How do I enter individual breakdowns when entering documents?
You have received a maintenance invoice and want to divide it into three cost centers at a ratio of 40:25:35. You enter the three cost centers and the values 40, 25 and 35 in the “Amount” field and press Enter.
Then press F16=Split and the system determines the correct values for the individual lines.
