Important change in the ZM

Dear DCW customers,

At the beginning of April, various customers informed us that an outdated format was being issued for the recapitulative statement (CSV) from DCW. The CSV files must now be encoded in UTF-8 format. In addition, the record format has changed slightly to the effect that the country and the tax number may no longer be output in two separate fields, but in one.

We reacted immediately and adapted the corresponding programmes. They are available with the current PTF from 05.04.2025.

As this is a minor change in terms of data volume and only objects need to be replaced, we offer a hotfix in this case, which you can download directly from this homepage.

Procedure:

  • Download the file ZM20250404.FILE and then upload it, e.g. via ACS, to the IFS of your IBM i in the following directory: /QSYS.LIB/QGPL.LIB
  • This provides you with a save file that you can install with the following command:
    RSTOBJ OBJ(*ALL) SAVLIB(DCWPTF1) DEV(*SAVF) SAVF(ZM20250404) RSTLIB(DCWPTF)
  • The updated objects are then available in the DCWPTF library and you can call up the ZM message and will be able to output the current version of the csv file.

The DCW team will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
