PORTOLAN Commerce Solutions relies on innovative AI solutions

Artificial intelligence is fundamentally changing many areas of business – including financial accounting. At Portolan, we are actively exploring how AI technologies can make processes more efficient and support employees in their daily work.

One specific impulse came from our trainees: a student at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) dedicated his bachelor’s thesis to the topic of “AI-supported helpline in financial accounting“. As part of his work, he not only developed a practice-oriented concept for the introduction of such systems, but also implemented a functioning prototype. This in-depth analysis forms a valuable basis for our internal development and is an example of how scientific work can provide concrete impetus for innovation within the company.
