New EVM Client 1.9.18 – Now with automatic version check

The new client version 1.9.18 now features a background version check, which automatically informs you when a more recent version is available in our customer download area.

The admin version of the client (usually used by key users) automatically performs a version check in the background once a day when the client is started.

If a more recent version of the client is available for download, a notification dialogue box with the relevant information will be displayed for 30 seconds.

Furthermore, the information dialogue box contains links that take you directly to the customer download or provide more detailed information about recent changes in the client in the client change log.

The client contains ongoing improvements and sometimes important corrections, which are also released between new versions.

The background version check also responds to these changes (if only the revision has increased within the client version) – and, if necessary, alerts you to a newer version within the same main version.
