New FIA add-ons for the 2026 annual version now available

Just in time for the first reports for the 2026 tax year, Portolan made the new FIA AddOns annual version 2026 available for customer download.

The EVM functionality allows the following messages to be conveniently prepared and transmitted from financial accounting:

Advance VAT return (UStVA)

Summary report (ZM report)

Due to the integrated ELSTER components, the annual update is essential. The tax authorities regularly adjust the technical requirements for electronic data transmission.

From 2026 onwards, the minimum version of ERiC (ELSTER Rich Client) required for transmission using the ELSTER procedure in Germany will be 43.3.2.0 – which we have of course also integrated into the new FIA Addons version 2026.

What do I need to do as an EVM user?

If you have not yet installed the update for the FIA add-ons annual version 2026, you can find it in our customer download area.

Simply uninstall the previous version and install the new version – your configuration settings will be retained.

The new version ensures that you can continue to submit your tax returns smoothly and as usual electronically using the ELSTER procedure.
