On May 20 in Munich and May 22 in Dortmund, we welcomed our customers to this year’s Portolan Customer Day. Two days, two locations and one common goal: exchange, product news and future security for our software solutions on the IBM i platform.

Insight into the world of Portolan – today and tomorrow

Ihe events focused on the latest innovations in our EVM and DCW software solutions: product roadmaps, exciting add-on products such as the Analytics reporting tool, tips on handling the Query Manager and liquidity monitoring. The JAVA solution NOW EVM was also presented. 

Digitalization was also an important focus: with the JobRouter digitalization platform, we offer a flexible solution for automating business processes – from processing incoming invoices to approval workflows. This is complemented by sycat, our central management platform for knowledge documentation and transfer. In this way, we create the basis for sustainable efficiency, process clarity and a successful start to digitalization.

IBM i: Stability and future-proofing

We were particularly pleased to welcome a representative from IBM, who was on hand to answer questions. It became clear once again that the IBM i platform is not only stable, but also a long-term, future-proof basis for companies that rely on reliability and performance.

IBM i rejuvenates itself with every release, becoming more powerful, more modern and more open to new technologies every year. For our customers, this means long-term investment security combined with the ability to innovate – a combination that is rare in the IT world. Very few providers are currently able to provide a secure roadmap up to the year 2039.

Focus on personal exchange

In addition to the technical content, personal contact was a key element of the event. The direct dialog, new impulses and open feedback from our customers show us that these days are not only informative, but also strengthen cooperation at eye level.
